What you will do

• Support teachers with instruction, assessments, grading, classroom materials, and administrative tasks.
• Provide daily one-on-one and small-group tutoring, interventions, and student support.
• Teach small groups when appropriate and observe experienced teachers to develop instructional and classroom-management techniques.
• Supervise students during transitions, meals, after-school activities, events, trips, and other school functions.
• Serve as an advisor to a small group of students and apply consistent behavior rewards and consequences.
• Communicate with students, families, and colleagues and participate in a three-week annual staff orientation and training.

Requirements

• Passion for improving the lives and education of K-12 students.
• Self-motivation, personal responsibility, teamwork, flexibility, and willingness to learn and adapt.
• Strong organization, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
• Alignment with hirify.global' mission and educational philosophy is required.
• Bachelor's degree and prior school or urban-community experience are preferred but not required.
