Senior Architecture Project Manager - Education, Science, Sport

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States; local candidates preferred.

What you will do

• Direct and coordinate single- or multidisciplinary teams throughout the full project lifecycle, from initiation through close-out.
• Manage large multidisciplinary projects or technically complex medium-sized projects with substantial project staffs.
• Coordinate multiple projects concurrently and lead deliverable development sessions with staff and stakeholders.
• Build client relationships and participate in marketing, contractual, design, production, and project review meetings.
• Coordinate staffing and workload, track project finances, and keep deliverables within agreed budgets and schedules.
• Implement QA/QC procedures, supervise large project staffs, and mentor less-experienced Project Managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture and 10 years of related experience.
• At least 5 years of project management experience, including the ability to lead project teams.
• Registered Architect credential.
• Knowledge and experience within the local and regional market.
• Good planning and mentoring skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities collaboratively.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.

Nice to have

• PMP certification.
• At least 5 years of experience with higher education, science/research, academic, or athletic facilities architecture projects.
• LEED Accreditation and experience or interest in sustainable and regenerative design, including low-carbon and healthy materials, SDGs, and the Living Building Challenge.
• Familiarity with Fitwel, WELL, and the AIA Framework for Design Excellence.
