Location: New York, United States. Consistent onsite presence during core business hours, regular reporting to a firm office, and travel to client sites are required.

Salary: $119,100–$239,300 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary performance-based bonus.

What you will do

  • Lead and manage multiple assurance and external audit engagements from planning through completion.
  • Oversee engagement teams, scopes, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Apply risk-based audit methodology, control testing, substantive procedures, and financial statement review.
  • Manage client relationships, address client needs, and communicate with firm personnel and clients.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services and support business development.
  • Mentor, coach, and provide performance feedback to audit staff through the manager level.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Active CPA or equivalent certification.
  • 9+ years of recent assurance experience in a public accounting environment with extensive external audit exposure.
  • Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, US GAAS, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Experience leading audit engagements and managing client relationships and business development activities.
  • Ability to maintain onsite presence, report regularly to the firm office, travel to client sites, and work extended or non-standard hours during peak periods.
