Assurance Senior (PE Funds)

Location: New York, United States. The role requires consistent onsite presence during core business hours, regular reporting to a firm office, and travel to client sites.

Salary: $67,900–$128,200 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Support assurance and audit engagements for private equity and venture capital clients.
• Contribute to engagements from planning through completion, including testing and financial statement preparation.
• Review audit workpapers and apply relevant accounting and auditing standards.
• Mentor staff and communicate effectively with firm personnel and clients.
• Manage multiple priorities, projects, deadlines, and quality requirements.
• Work in the firm office and at client sites, including extended or non-standard hours during peak periods.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited university.
• Active CPA license or demonstrated progress toward CPA licensure in the state of residence.
• 2–3 years of recent assurance experience in a public accounting environment.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, US GAAS, or other relevant regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, research, communication, and professional judgment skills.
• Ability to maintain onsite presence at a firm office and travel to client sites with reliable transportation.
