Shipping & Receiving Clerk (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: Amesbury, Massachusetts, USA; onsite. The position is restricted to U.S. citizens and requires obtaining a security clearance within 90 days.

Salary: $22.43–$25.08 per hour.

What you will do

• Execute shipping and receiving activities for manufactured products.
• Prepare materials and coordinate carrier scheduling, pickups, and transportation.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving with operations, sales and marketing, and quality teams.
• Review shipping tables to ensure all requirements are met.
• Operate a power forklift and pallet jack.
• Identify problems, develop viable solutions, and escalate issues when necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least one year of related experience or training.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and applicable shipping programs.
• Understanding of an MRP system; Microsoft AX exposure is preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• U.S. citizenship is required, and the ability to obtain a security clearance within 90 days is mandatory.

Nice to have

• Experience with UPS and FedEx shipping applications.
• Microsoft AX exposure.
