Shipping & Receiving - Material Handler (Logistics)

Location: 670 Hardy Rd, Painesville, Ohio, United States. Onsite night shift, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.

Pay: $22.09/hour plus $2/hour shift differential.

What you will do

• Arrange freight pickups and coordinate dock operations for incoming stock, scrap, and parcel deliveries.
• Load and unload trucks and manage daily shipping and receiving activities.
• Inspect incoming raw materials, process receipts in Oracle, tag inventory, and prepare bills of lading, packing lists, and commercial invoices.
• Perform inventory audits, enforce FIFO procedures, and resolve stock discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Supply Chain, and carriers to support on-time customer deliveries.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or at least 3 years of relevant manufacturing or logistics experience.
• Tow motor/forklift certification required.
• Computer proficiency; Oracle ERP and Microsoft Office experience are preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage shifting priorities, and work overtime as needed.
• Successful completion of a post-offer background check and drug screening is required.

Nice to have

• DOT or Hazmat experience.
