CAD Design Supervisor (SolidWorks)

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of CAD designers and drafters.
• Assign workloads, balance priorities, and ensure delivery against project timelines.
• Establish CAD standards, templates, and guidelines, and review drawings and models for accuracy and compliance.
• Develop and optimize CAD workflows to improve efficiency and reduce rework.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, and manufacturing teams on project requirements and build documentation.
• Manage CAD software licenses, updates, and integrations with IT.

Requirements

• Academic background in engineering, drafting, or a related field.
• Professional experience as a CAD designer, drafter, or in a comparable role, with progression into leadership.
• Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, drafting standards, and build documentation.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
