What you will do
- Create 2D drawings based on engineer-created 3D models.
- Help develop 3D models under engineering guidance.
- Create and format complete drawing sets for production and quality assurance.
- Communicate with production departments to determine drawing and design requirements.
- Work with engineers to complete designs and perform additional assigned drafting tasks.
Requirements
- At least one year of intensive CAD usage, including familiarity with dimensioning, scaling, and typical CAD standards.
- Knowledge of 3D mechanical software, preferably Pro/Engineer or SolidWorks.
- Experience creating complete drawing sets.
- Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, and computer-aided drafting applications.
- Detail-oriented, organized, able to multitask, meet deadlines, work independently, and make sound decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; an associate degree with detailed drawing experience will be considered.
