Manager, Risk and Comliance

Location: Chicago, United States

Salary: $111,200–$190,300 per year, plus discretionary performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Execute certification activities for Assurance Digital products and platforms and prepare certification artifacts and release recommendations.
• Support risk assessments for new products, enhancements, and material changes, documenting risks and proposed mitigations.
• Collect, validate, and maintain evidence, certification records, findings logs, and inspection-ready documentation.
• Partner with product, engineering, and delivery teams to clarify requirements and drive remediation actions.
• Prepare governance materials, status reports, action tracking, and follow-ups for audits, inspections, peer reviews, and internal oversight.
• Escalate complex risk and compliance matters to Associate Directors or Directors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, information systems, business, computer science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with privacy and data protection impact assessments, security controls, and technology risk concepts.
• Familiarity with SOC 1/SOC 2 reporting and IT control frameworks such as COSO, COBIT, or ITIL.
• Experience working with product or technology teams to obtain evidence and follow through on remediation.

Nice to have

• CPA, CISA, CRISC, AIGP, AAIR, AAISM, or a similar certification.
• Exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP control considerations.
• Experience with data and AI governance, model risk management frameworks, or emerging technology compliance.
