Vice President, IT Governance, Risk & Compliance (Cybersecurity)

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States; corporate onsite role

Salary: $220,000–$330,000 per year, plus eligible short-term and long-term incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Develop and execute the multi-year strategy for the enterprise IT governance, risk, and compliance organization.
• Lead governance frameworks, policies, controls, technology risk management, and executive-level reporting.
• Oversee technology and cybersecurity regulatory compliance, audit readiness, examinations, and remediation.
• Modernize GRC through automation, workflow orchestration, advanced analytics, continuous assurance, and data-driven decision-making.
• Establish governance and oversight for emerging AI technologies and AI-enabled business processes.
• Advise the CISO, CIO, executive leadership, board committees, auditors, regulators, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience across IT governance, risk management, compliance, audit, cybersecurity, or technology management.
• Experience leading large-scale enterprise programs in a highly regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of IT and cybersecurity architectures, cloud technologies, identity and access management, data protection, and technology operations.
• Extensive experience managing regulatory compliance programs and internal and external auditor relationships.
• Demonstrated success building enterprise-wide governance, risk, compliance, or cybersecurity programs.
• Exceptional executive communication, influencing, and relationship management skills.

Nice to have

• Insurance, financial services, banking, wealth management, or other highly regulated industry experience.
• Leadership experience in cyber defense, security engineering, identity and access management, security architecture, incident response, risk management, or security operations.
• Experience with modern GRC platforms, compliance transformation, automation, or digital modernization programs.
• Knowledge of AI governance, model risk management, and technology ethics.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, CISA, CPA, or CIA.
