Associate Principal, Regulatory Compliance (Cybersecurity)

Location: Chicago, United States; hybrid work with up to 2 remote days per week

Salary: $97,300–$136,600 annually, plus an 8%–15% discretionary incentive range.

What you will do

• Support and drive regulatory advisory services, policies, procedures, controls, and compliance tools for business units.
• Advise on financial risk management, clearing and settlement, enterprise risk, corporate finance, and general business practices.
• Develop and implement IT and Security Services compliance processes, policies, standards, procedures, and controls.
• Monitor regulatory and audit findings, identify root causes and trends, and support remediation plans.
• Evaluate new products, business initiatives, technologies, and systems for compliance with policies, laws, and regulations.
• Prepare compliance monitoring reports, annual compliance reports, regulatory examination materials, and education on compliance topics.

Requirements

• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• Strong knowledge of securities and commodities regulations, including SEC and CFTC requirements, and compliance best practices.
• Experience with risk, control, compliance, and process improvement frameworks, including COBIT, COSO, ITIL, NIST, ISO, and CMMI.
• 5+ years of experience in IT or Security Compliance, IT or Security Risk Management, IT or Security Audit, Information Security, IT, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, information systems, computer science, or a related discipline.
• Ability to manage policies, controls, testing, monitoring, risk assessments, findings, multiple priorities, and regulatory deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience with RSA Archer, NAVEX Global, PolicyTech, document management, and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of cloud computing models, risks, and cloud control environments such as AWS.
• Familiarity with the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and the Commodity Exchange Act.
• CIA, CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CGEIT, or ITIL certification.
