IAM Risk Audit Lead (Cybersecurity)

Location: Chicago, IL, United States; onsite full-time role

Salary: $99,600–$169,200 USD per year, plus potential discretionary bonus and equity component

What you will do

• Lead internal and external IAM audit activities, including evidence collection, validation, delivery, and remediation tracking.
• Execute and monitor IAM controls across identity governance and administration, privileged access management, access controls, authentication, authorization, and directory services.
• Identify control gaps, process weaknesses, exceptions, emerging risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop IAM risk, audit, and compliance dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, KCIs, and control-effectiveness reporting.
• Support IAM governance, policy development, maturity initiatives, governance forums, and leadership reviews.
• Partner with IAM engineers, risk teams, auditors, compliance functions, and business stakeholders while guiding analysts and team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in cybersecurity, IAM, risk management, audit, compliance, or related disciplines.
• Experience leading or supporting audit, compliance, risk management, control testing, and regulatory activities.
• Strong understanding of IAM concepts, controls, governance practices, control frameworks, regulatory requirements, and security standards.
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, management presentations, and analytical recommendations.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.
