Energy Efficiency & Consumer Program Coordinator (Energy Efficiency)

Location: Bluefield, West Virginia, United States. Regular travel throughout the Company's service territory is required for program implementation, contractor engagement, training, outreach, trade shows, community events, and stakeholder activities.

Standard base pay: $63,496–$79,369 per year for the Associate level; $74,551–$93,189 per year for the Coordinator level. The overall compensation range is $63,496–$93,188.50 per year.

What you will do

• Evaluate energy-efficiency and consumer program applications and technical and financial proposals from third-party contractors.
• Support RFI, RFQ, and RFP development, contractor agreements, program guidelines, cost tracking, and implementation procedures.
• Support data collection, program evaluation, and measurement and verification activities.
• Recruit, train, and maintain relationships with trade allies, contractors, customers, and community organizations.
• Coordinate customer outreach, trade shows, workshops, presentations, and promotional activities.
• Collaborate with legal, procurement, regulatory, planning, public policy, operating company, and other utility functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, applied sciences, agriculture, or IT.
• Entry-level applicants require no experience; the higher Coordinator level requires at least two years of experience in energy-efficiency programs, consumer programs, training, sales, outreach, customer engagement, or a related field.
• Experience with energy-efficiency and consumer programs.
• Strong verbal and written communication, teamwork, prioritization, and math, science, and engineering skills.
• Knowledge of environmental and national energy issues, with the ability to explain this knowledge to others.
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout the Company's service territory is required.
