Business Analyst - JDA Planning SCM (JDA)

Location: Lake Forest, California, United States; occasional travel to manufacturing or distribution locations and after-hours production support may be required.

hirify.global is partnering with a manufacturing and services industry organization on a business-critical supply chain planning role.

What you will do

• Provide Tier 2/3 production support for JDA Planning 2006, including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Network Optimization, Collaborate, and DRP.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve problems involving customized code and configurations.
• Monitor batch cycles, forecast runs, planning engine executions, scheduled jobs, file transfers, and system performance.
• Maintain planning master data and integrations with SAP ECC, QAD, AutoSys, and related enterprise systems.
• Gather requirements and translate planning, manufacturing, S&OP, and IT needs into configurations and enhancement requirements.
• Support legacy platform transformation through documentation, data migration, UAT, regression testing, parallel-run validation, cutover planning, go-live readiness, and hypercare.

Requirements

• 7+ years of IT and/or business systems experience with significant hands-on support of JDA Planning 2006 or a closely related legacy SCM planning platform.
• Strong expertise in JDA/Manugistics Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Network Optimization, statistical forecasting, S&OP/IBP, replenishment, DRP, and network planning.
• Experience with planning master data structures, batch jobs, planning engine runs, integrations, EDI, flat files, middleware, APIs, and scheduled interfaces.
• Experience integrating SCM planning applications with SAP ECC and/or QAD and supporting manufacturing and distribution supply chains across multiple plants and countries.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction, validation, and production troubleshooting; a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, IT, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to bridge business and technical teams through requirements gathering, process analysis, documentation, stakeholder communication, data governance, and system transformation support.

Nice to have

• Experience with AIX/Unix, Oracle 9i, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft 365, or similar tools.
• Exposure to SAP IBP, current-generation Blue Yonder/JDA, Kinaxis, or o9.
• APICS/CPIM or CSCP certification.
• Experience in consumer goods, residential products, CPG, durable goods, or similar manufacturing environments.
