Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room - Full Time - Operating Room Experience Required

What you will do

• Provide patient-centered nursing care for patients from six months through adulthood undergoing surgical or invasive procedures under various types of anesthesia.
• Collaborate with the Patient Care Services team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
• Apply current evidence-based practices and the Professional Practice Model in daily care delivery.
• Use data to improve quality and safety.
• Use informatics and technology to communicate, manage information, mitigate errors, and support clinical decision-making.
• Support elective and non-elective procedures across neurological, orthopedic, gynecological, urological, bariatric, colorectal, vascular, ENT, general, breast, and plastic surgery.

Requirements

• Operating room experience is required.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing school with an Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Hold an active Registered Nurse license in New Hampshire or a compact state.
• Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Complete unit-specific competencies, including Basic Life Support within 30 days and surgical equipment, instrumentation, scrubbing, gowning, gloving, aseptic technique, and circulating competencies within 90 days.
• Complete specialty circulating and robotic surgery competencies within 180 days.
