Contractor Logistics Support Specialist (Defense and Simulation)

Location: Tampa, United States; onsite work in an office/classroom environment and around simulator equipment. The role requires national and international travel, access to confined spaces and simulator boarding ramps, and occasional overtime. Only U.S. citizens are eligible due to U.S. Government contract requirements.

What you will do

• Provide logistics and engineering support for simulator training systems, including spare parts, repair components, facilities, equipment, and materiel.
• Research and analyze logistics provisioning documentation and prepare recommendations and contractual deliverables.
• Create standard operating procedures, work instructions, requisitions, and procurement documentation.
• Track components through procurement and delivery while coordinating international shipping documentation with Trade Compliance.
• Support site personnel with CMMS workflows, including maintenance work orders, asset tracking, inventory, and preventive maintenance scheduling.
• Identify and mitigate parts obsolescence risks to maintain system supportability and control costs.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in logistics or a related technical field.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Eligibility for a Department of Defense Personal Security Clearance is required.
• Ability to work with electronic and hydraulic equipment, access confined spaces, operate a computer, and communicate by email and telephone.
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally and work overtime as required.
