What you will do

• Administer, monitor, and document chemotherapy and other infusion treatments according to provider-ordered treatment plans.
• Perform venipuncture and access ports for patient treatment.
• Educate patients about their treatments and provide emotional support throughout care.
• Monitor and maintain a patient-focused standard of compassionate service.
• Use electronic medical record systems and communicate promptly with clinical team members.
• Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and other applicable safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Professional nursing degree required; a BSN is preferred.
• Tennessee State Nursing licensure required.
• Current BLS certification required upon hire.
• At least one year of prior nursing experience preferred for success in the role.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, full range of motion, and corrected vision and hearing to normal range are required.

Nice to have

• Chemo-Immuno certification.
• Oncology Certified Nurse certification.
