Commercial Pest Control Technician

Location: Kansas City, Missouri, United States; onsite field work at commercial properties

What you will do

• Inspect commercial properties to identify pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
• Apply approved chemicals, baits, and traps while following safety standards and product-label instructions.
• Educate customers on pest prevention and recommend measures to reduce future infestations.
• Build customer relationships, schedule appointments, support sales to existing customers, and develop new business.
• Maintain, stock, and safely operate pest control equipment and a company-provided service vehicle.
• Follow federal, state, and local pest control regulations and safety protocols.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday and Saturdays as needed.
• Strong reading, writing, verbal communication, and basic math skills.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and around animals, insects, mechanical parts, electrical current, heights, fumes, dust, and chemicals.
• Must be clean-shaven to ensure respirators can properly seal; required licenses and certificates are covered by the company.
