What you will do

• Develop and optimize E/E architectures and wiring solutions using PREEvision.
• Build model-based wiring harness and architecture models, focusing on wiring and hardware layers.
• Develop, program, validate, and deploy custom PREEvision metrics for architecture evaluation, harness optimization, and automation.
• Implement metric-based logic for splice integration, grounding, network topology, circuit optimization, inline strategies, automation, and cost/weight analysis.
• Convert zonal concepts and modular inline and grounding strategies into scalable PREEvision automation workflows.
• Maintain reusable optimization metrics aligned with global standards and manufacturability while collaborating with engineering, technical center, and customer teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Mechatronics.
• Strong programming experience in Java, Python, OCL scripting frameworks, or model-rule languages.
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying custom metrics, automation logic, or rule engines in PREEvision.
• Experience translating engineering logic and optimization strategies into executable code and applying model-based systems engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in EDS wiring harness design and the automotive industry.
• English is mandatory; German is preferred.
