Staff Requirements Management Engineer / Specialist (f/m/d) (Semiconductor)

Location: Germering, Germany; another location in the EMEA Region may be possible. Remote work is not available.

What you will do

• Own and drive cross-project requirements management across the full semiconductor product lifecycle.
• Define and enforce requirements management governance, workflows, best practices, and requirements management plans.
• Ensure consistent, traceable, complete, and testable specifications across System, Hardware, and Software domains.
• Manage requirements versions, variants, changes, KPIs, metrics, and exchange with internal and external stakeholders.
• Administer and customize Polarion and DOORS, including scripting, configuration, user support, and integrations with ALM, PLM, and V&V tools.
• Lead continuous improvement and standardization initiatives across projects and organizational units.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in requirements engineering methodologies and best practices.
• Solid programming and scripting skills, especially in Python for automation, data processing, and API integration.
• Experience with REST-based system integration and data exchange between engineering tools.
• Practical knowledge of JavaScript and Velocity scripting for tool customization.
• Ability to work cross-functionally, influence without direct authority, and align diverse stakeholders globally.
• University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a comparable field; very good English communication skills are required.
