Vehicle Collection Driver Class 1

What you will do

• Collect vehicles from various customer and client locations.
• Load and offload vehicles to and from HGV vehicles, using the vehicle winch where required.
• Measure and record vehicle height before every journey using the measuring stick and cab height indicator.
• Drive in compliance with working-time, driving, legislative, and height-restriction requirements.
• Liaise with customers and clients throughout the collection process.

Requirements

• Must be legally entitled to work in the United Kingdom and pass right-to-work checks.
• At least six months of driving experience.
• Class 1 Driving Licence, Digital Tachograph Card, and Driver CPC Card.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Self-motivation, organisation, resilience, and attention to detail.
• A satisfactory DBS and finance check, plus compliance with random drug and alcohol screening.

Nice to have

• Previous vehicle recovery or car transporter experience.
