Equipment Assembler

Location: Piscataway, New Jersey, United States; onsite manufacturing facility

Salary: $22–$24 per hour

What you will do

• Build and assemble standard and customized gas handling equipment.
• Ensure products are assembled and tested according to product requirements, drawings, quality standards, and customer orders.
• Operate production equipment safely and support routine adjustments, maintenance, and repairs.
• Collaborate with production, customer service, and technical support teams on unique builds and special orders.
• Support inventory management, warehouse shipping and stocking, and the return and repair area.
• Identify safety concerns and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Six months to one year of related experience or training, with experience using hand tools in a clean work environment.
• Ability to read product specifications and assembly drawings and follow written, oral, or diagram-based instructions.
• Basic computer skills, including email, spreadsheets, quality certifications, and shared databases.
• Ability to perform physical assembly work involving up to 150 foot-pounds of torque and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
