Director, Supply Chain - APAC Regional Supply Chain Head (Biopharma)

Location: Based in Santa Monica or Tokyo; the role supports supply chain operations across Australia, Japan, Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end APAC regional supply chain operations, including cell order management, launch management, Japan depot material management, logistics, trade compliance, and change control.
• Ensure reliable, uninterrupted patient supply and strong regional operational performance across more than 90 Authorized Treatment Centers.
• Optimize the APAC operating model, global supply allocation, and regional shipping lanes for scale, efficiency, cost, compliance, and customer experience.
• Lead and develop a supply chain team of professionals across three countries and four time zones, with six direct reports.
• Represent Global Supply Chain on the International Kite Leadership Team and partner with commercial, technical operations, and regional supply chain leaders.
• Drive continuous improvement, digital enablement, automation, capability building, and business continuity planning.

Requirements

• Strategic leadership and deep operational expertise in regional supply chain management.
• Ability to manage operations across diverse cultures, multiple time zones, and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience leading cross-functional partnerships across Commercial Operations, Technical Operations, Network Planning, Product Supply Chain, logistics, and trade compliance.
• Ability to strengthen operational resilience through risk assessment and regularly tested business continuity plans.
• Ability to be based in Santa Monica or Tokyo.
