Electrical Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Casa Grande, Arizona, USA; onsite manufacturing facility

Salary: $40.91 per hour during the 90-day orientation period, increasing to $42.14 per hour, plus a $1.75 per hour shift premium

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
• Maintain 480V, 240V, 120V AC systems and low-voltage electrical systems.
• Interpret electronic drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and simple ladder logic.
• Repair and improve process controls, unit operations, and manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose equipment deficiencies, replace faulty components, fabricate replacement parts, and service powered carts and lift trucks.
• Develop job plans, preventive maintenance procedures, and root cause analyses.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least two years of experience as a qualified journey-level Electrical Technician; an accredited technical degree or journey-level certificate may substitute for part of the experience.
• Working knowledge of computers and a valid driver license.
• Ability to read safety rules, maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, drawings, and schedules, and to write routine reports.
• Ability to apply basic algebra, geometry, and electronic mathematics and solve practical technical problems.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, qualifying temporary resident, refugee, or person granted asylum.

Culture & Benefits

• Full-time position on the T4 2x2x5x5 night shift, working 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Shift schedule includes alternating Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, followed by Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
• Overtime, weekend, and holiday work may be required.
• Employees must provide a full working set of essential electrician tools.
