E&C Technician (Electrical & Instrumentation)

Location: Onsite in Alexander, North Dakota; the position covers the Williston area and requires outdoor and industrial field work.

What you will do

• Perform electrical maintenance, new construction support, and maintenance of instrumentation at company facilities.
• Install and maintain company communications equipment, controls, alarms, sensors, and related systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, PLC logic, control valves, electrical motors, and other assigned equipment.
• Respond to equipment callouts and schedule electrical maintenance for the assigned location.
• Work with project managers, engineers, contractors, and PLC programming personnel on construction and maintenance projects.
• Maintain electrical supplies and repair parts, supervise electrical contractors, and follow safety and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman electrician qualification.
• General knowledge of compressor stations, gathering systems, and processing plant operations.
• Knowledge of electrical prints, motor control, PLC cause-and-effect logic, troubleshooting, and calibration standards.
• Valid state operating license and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, carry, climb, work in confined spaces, walk up to 7 miles per day, and work outdoors around hazardous industrial equipment; overtime, callouts, and DOT drug and alcohol testing may apply.
