E&I Journeyman (Industrial Electrical and Instrumentation)

What you will do

• Maintain paper mill and converting equipment, including paper machines, folios, embossers, roll-wrap, and cutsize assets.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, rebuilding, and equipment repairs.
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, industrial controls, Rockwell ControlLogix PLCs, AC/DC drives, motors, instrumentation, valves, control loops, and DCS.
• Respond to service calls and call-ins to support continuous production operations.
• Prepare tools, parts, and supplies; complete service records; and recommend equipment modifications or component replacements.
• Read electrical prints, use troubleshooting manuals, and monitor process variables such as temperature, pressure, flow, and pH.

Requirements

• Journeyman card and/or state license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Technical and problem-solving skills with the ability to contribute in a team environment.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical capabilities test, drug and alcohol screening, and background check.
• Ability to wear PPE, work in confined spaces and extreme temperatures, climb ladders and scaffolds, and handle physically demanding tasks.
• PIV certification is required; physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and working extended shifts of up to 16 hours.

• Four years of relevant experience.
• Advanced electrical or instrumentation education and industrial experience.
