Scientist 1 - VOA

Location: East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, United States. Onsite laboratory role with a Tuesday–Saturday schedule from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

Compensation: $19.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform, support, and oversee analysis of air, water, and soil samples.
• Apply established chemistry and biochemistry methods in laboratory testing.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Document procedures, observations, and results in organized laboratory records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or another STEM-related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Required chemistry credit hours with laboratory coursework.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment, stand for extended periods, work around strong odors, and wear required PPE.
• Training is provided.
