What you will do

• Perform, support, and oversee analysis of environmental samples using established chemistry and biochemistry methods, including GC-LC.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Document procedures, observations, and analytical results accurately in organized laboratory records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or another STEM-related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• College or university chemistry coursework with laboratory hours.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment, stand for extended periods, work around strong odors, and wear required personal protective equipment.
