Scientist 1 (Environmental Science)

Location: Beaver, West Virginia, United States; onsite, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Salary: $15.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform, support, and oversee analysis of air, water, and soil samples.
• Apply established chemistry and biochemistry methods in a laboratory environment.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Document procedures, observations, and results in organized laboratory records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or another STEM-related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment while standing for extended periods, working around strong odors, and wearing required personal protective equipment.
• Training is provided.
