Mechanical Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment)

What you will do

• Conceptualize, design, and create drawings for mechanical parts, mechanisms, and material-handling modules.
• Assemble and test final hardware, and prepare product drawings and project documentation.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to refine specifications.
• Evaluate manufacturing methods and materials for custom fabricated parts and machines.
• Conduct design reviews with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve issues and optimize designs.
• Define and execute design-verification test plans, including thermal, structural, tolerance, and vibration analysis.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent field.
• 3+ years of direct experience in mechanism design, custom machine design, and fabricated parts.
• GD&T drawing and detailing knowledge according to ANSI Y14.5.
• Intermediate to expert knowledge of PTC Creo, Windchill, and SAP.
• Experience with semiconductor and surface mount assembly equipment design and relevant industry standards.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.
