Manufacturing Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain manufacturing methods, operating sequences, and processes for parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Coordinate the release of product improvements and new products with engineering and other cross-functional teams.
• Review supplier inspection reports and commodity documentation for compliance with corporate procedures and drawing requirements.
• Evaluate inspection tools, measurement methods, raw-material reports, weldments, coatings, plating, and other special processes.
• Develop test procedures, assess results, identify root causes, and recommend corrective solutions.
• Improve product quality, productivity, manufacturing costs, tooling, and process requirements using lean principles, automation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of GD&T symbols, engineering drawings, and GD&T measurement methods.
• Hands-on experience with metrology, engineering measurement tools, instruments, and equipment.
• Hands-on experience with CMM inspection is required.
• Knowledge of ASTM/ASME standards, surface treatment and coating/plating inspection, material test certificates, and weldment inspection methods.
• Basic knowledge of Teamcenter and SAP, along with manufacturing methods.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical problem-solving, Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
