Senior Cyber Security Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Salary: $110,000–$215,000 per year, dependent on level

What you will do

• Conduct hands-on forensic reviews of laptops, mobile devices, storage media, and volatile memory using tools such as EnCase, FTK, X-Ways, Magnet IEF, and BlackLight.
• Handle and image SSDs, HDDs, thumb drives, compact disks, and other digital evidence.
• Extract and analyze files, logs, directories, unallocated space, raw images, and custom databases.
• Parse data to recover metadata and content of forensic value from diverse sources.
• Perform forensic reviews and reverse engineering of Android and iOS devices.
• Analyze malware using static and dynamic techniques, debuggers, disassemblers, virtualization environments, and kernel-level processing analysis.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Demonstrated experience in digital forensics and hands-on forensic reviews.
• Proficiency with forensic tools including EnCase, FTK, X-Ways, Magnet IEF, or BlackLight.
• Experience handling and imaging evidence from different storage media.
• Competence in data extraction and analysis from diverse data sources.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows, Linux, iOS, Android, and virtualized environments.

Nice to have

• Programming or scripting experience with Perl, Python, or Bash.
• Familiarity with enterprise and operational activities, technical development programs, cybersecurity policies, and regulations.
• Knowledge of CNSSP 1253, FIPS 140-2, FIPS 199, FIPS 200, and NIST SP 800-37, 800-39, and 800-53.
