Manager, Accounting & Finance

Location: HQ - San Diego, California, United States

Salary: $80,000–$120,000 per year, plus eligible annual discretionary cash and restricted stock unit bonus targets of 10% each.

What you will do

• Manage accounting operations and support the production of accurate financial reports.
• Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and process documentation.
• Review general ledger maintenance transactions, reconciliations, intercompany activity, and manual journal entries.
• Implement accounting systems and integrate existing systems to reduce manual work and automate controls.
• Support month-end close activities and prepare materials for public accounting auditors, regulators, and internal auditors.
• Develop end-to-end accounting processes and analysis for new regulatory requirements, products, and business models.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in accounting and finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
• Must meet U.S. employment eligibility requirements; pre-employment credit, criminal background, drug, and marijuana screening applies.

Nice to have

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
