Finance & Accounting Intern - P&G Plant (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site at the Alce Blanco Plant in Naucalpan de Juárez, Mexico

Salary: MXN 9,000–18,000 gross per month, depending on hours worked.

What you will do

• Support the preparation, review, and submission of the plant’s financial forecasts.
• Track cost and savings initiatives, identify cost risks, and support corrective actions with Product Supply and other teams.
• Prepare weekly reports covering material variances, inventory adjustments, overtime, and other cost drivers.
• Maintain and enhance digital reporting tools and dashboards using Power BI, Knime, MUSE, BARS, and similar platforms.
• Contribute to plant benchmarking, process simplification, digital transformation, and continuous improvement projects.
• Execute internal controls and support compliance with accounting policies, Delegation of Authority, and monthly reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Current student in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Actuarial Science, or a related field, expecting to graduate between December 2027 and December 2028.
• Basic knowledge of finance and accounting, with the ability to prepare reports and presentations.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Excel, SAP, and data analysis tools.
• Advanced English; proficiency will be evaluated.
• Problem-solving, analytical, communication, teamwork, adaptability, initiative, and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Previous internship experience in finance or manufacturing.
• Experience with Knime or ERP systems.
• Basic knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma.
