Sr. Manager, Data Science - Core Pricing Systems (Automotive)

Location: hirify.global Home Office - West Creek in Richmond, Virginia; on-site 4 days per week

Salary: $116,400–$186,200 annually, with potential bonus and equity

What you will do

• Lead and develop data scientists and analysts across the Pricing team.
• Partner with business leaders to define KPIs, set measurable goals, and build management systems that deliver results.
• Ensure pricing models reflect current market conditions and identify when immediate strategy changes are needed.
• Build monitoring and alert systems, conduct regular model reviews, and resolve pricing system issues promptly.
• Use analytical models to optimize vehicle buying, pricing, and inventory allocation across more than 200 stores.
• Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders, gain organizational alignment, and influence strategic direction.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in an analytical or strategic role.
• Four-year undergraduate degree with strong academic performance; an MBA or analytical master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience conducting large-scale data analysis, preferably using SQL or Python.
• Ability and enthusiasm to manage data scientists and analysts shaping business strategy.
• Ability to communicate complex topics and influence executive decision-making.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
