Analyst - WMS Manager Research (Finance)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States

Base salary: $105,000–$128,000 per year, plus potential variable compensation.

What you will do

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative investment research, analysis, and manager selection for assigned product lines.
• Perform ongoing due diligence for fixed income mutual funds, ETFs, separate accounts, and investment strategists.
• Update, maintain, and improve analytical tools, models, and processes.
• Manage external partner relationships, including communication about performance, due diligence, and operational issues.
• Contribute as a subject matter expert to medium-scale cross-organizational projects involving development, project formation, marketing, and maintenance.
• Review marketing and training materials and support senior analysts.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong quantitative skills combining investment knowledge and technical expertise.
• Experience using Bloomberg, Excel, FactSet, or Morningstar Direct for investment analysis.
• Experience managing professional relationships with third-party institutions.
• Strong attention to detail and written and verbal communication skills.
• Series 7 license or ability to obtain it within 120 days.

Nice to have

• Prior manager research experience.
• CFA, CAIA, or CIMA designation.
