Facilities Technician I, Full-Time

Location: View on 10th, 1001 Speight Ave, Waco, Texas, United States. The role is performed at the assigned property, may require periodic travel, and includes on-call coverage for after-hours and weekend emergencies.

What you will do

• Respond to maintenance and repair service requests and complete minor and routine repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on property buildings, equipment, appliances, air filters, coils, and condensers.
• Prepare apartments for resident turnovers through basic appliance repair, carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, and lighting work.
• Maintain property safety and functionality in accordance with operating procedures, OSHA, and industry standards.
• Document work completed, parts and supplies used, follow-up requirements, and materials needed.
• Keep repair locations and maintenance areas clean while coordinating assignments with facilities staff and management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified Pool Operator certification, or willingness to obtain it within six months.
• Clear communication skills, punctuality, dependability, and a safety-conscious attitude.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to use or learn basic computer operations.
• Flexible schedule for after-hours and weekend emergencies, including on-call service.
• Ability to stand for eight hours or longer, lift up to 100 lbs., and travel when required.
