Member of Technical Staff II (BMC Firmware) (C/C++, OpenBMC): Providing customer engineering support for AMI BMC solutions, including issue analysis, debugging, customized feature development, and platform integration with an accent on BMC firmware, Linux, and server management technologies. Focus on root cause analysis, integrating firmware with server platforms, and enhancing core technologies such as Redfish, MCTP, IPMI, and PLDM.
Location: Taipei, Taiwan; candidates must provide satisfactory proof of the right to work in Taiwan

What you will do
- Provide customer engineering support for AMI BMC solutions and resolve technical issues.
- Analyze defects, debug firmware and software problems, and perform root cause analysis.
- Develop features and customized solutions for customer requirements.
- Integrate solutions with server platforms and collaborate with customers, R&D teams, and platform partners.
- Contribute enhancements to core BMC and server management technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, information engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in firmware, software, embedded systems, server management, or related engineering fields.
- Proficiency in C and C++ programming and familiarity with Linux environments and development tools.
- Experience with issue debugging and root cause analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, ownership, and accountability skills.
- Satisfactory proof of the right to work in Taiwan is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with BMC firmware development or OpenBMC.
- Knowledge of Git, hardware schematics, networking protocols, firmware architecture, or server hardware.
- Experience with Redfish, MCTP, IPMI, PLDM, server management technologies, or Yocto Project development and customization.
