Firmware/BIOS Developer (BIOS)

What you will do

• Design, develop, code, and debug platform BIOS and firmware for cloud servers.
• Review firmware and software architecture specifications and provide technical feedback.
• Create design documentation and develop reference code and related collateral.
• Study motherboard, BIOS, processor, memory, and I/O specifications to improve system reliability and compatibility.
• Participate in new platform power-on events and cross-functional product development and validation activities.
• Implement and support features required for manufacturing validation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of BIOS development experience.
• Strong C, C++, and x86 Assembly programming skills.
• Knowledge of operating system internals and interaction with BIOS functions, processor architecture, and enterprise systems.
• Experience with legacy BIOS platforms such as Phoenix and AMI, UEFI, EDK II, and Linux boot.
• Knowledge of PCI, ACPI, DDR, CXL, BMC functions, enterprise hardware, drivers, I/O technologies, and board-level diagnostic tools.
