Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst III (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Develop, coordinate, and maintain integrated master plans and schedules for complex programs.
• Ensure horizontal and vertical schedule integration across the enterprise.
• Perform schedule risk analysis, identify critical paths, and mitigate timeline risks.
• Resolve network logic conflicts using Gantt charts, PERT, milestone charts, and related techniques.
• Analyze schedule compliance and completion shortfalls, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare schedule-status reports and recommendations for senior stakeholders while supporting scheduling best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in project planning and scheduling; 8 years may substitute for a degree.
• Experience with Microsoft Project Professional or a similar scheduling tool.
• Strong follow-up, communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required for employment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Earned Value Management, DCMA 14-point assessments, IPMR, MIL-STD-881, WBS, IMP, IMS, and resource-loaded schedules.
• Expertise in critical-path analysis, schedule risk assessments, schedule health metrics, resource leveling, and rolling-wave planning.
• Knowledge of engineering lifecycles, DoD contracting, government policies, and public auditing standards.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, and delivering stakeholder or employee training.
