TL;DR
Program Scheduling Analyst Master (Aerospace): Developing and maintaining integrated master schedules for aerospace, defense, NASA, DoD, and commercial programs with an accent on critical path analysis, cost-schedule integration, and earned value management. Focus on establishing baselines, assessing schedule risk, forecasting program performance, and coordinating complex execution across engineering, finance, contracts, and operations.

Location: San Diego, California, United States. Occasional travel to other business sites is required. Applicants must be U.S. Persons eligible to obtain required export authorizations.

Salary: $115,000–$150,000 USD annual base salary, with actual compensation varying by location, experience, and performance.

What you will do

  • Develop, maintain, and control Integrated Master Schedules aligned with work breakdown structures, control accounts, and contractual deliverables.
  • Apply Critical Path Methodology, maintain schedule logic, perform integrity checks, and analyze float and critical paths.
  • Integrate schedules with cost, risk, performance, and change-management systems to support Earned Value Management.
  • Establish schedule baselines, support change control and Integrated Baseline Reviews, and perform variance, trend, KPI, and schedule-risk analysis.
  • Support ETC, EAC, forecasting, proposal schedules, and planning approaches across government, fixed-price, cost-plus, commercial, and agile programs.
  • Collaborate with program managers, CAMs, engineering, contracts, procurement, finance, quality, leadership, and customer stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of project scheduling or program planning experience in aerospace, defense, or technically complex environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Program Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience developing logic-driven network schedules, schedule baselines, and change-control processes.
  • Knowledge of Critical Path Methodology, float analysis, schedule risk assessment, Earned Value Management, and cost-schedule integration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office, with strong analytical, organizational, written, visual, and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Person—a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual—and eligible to obtain required ITAR/EAR export authorizations.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting DoD, NASA, or government aerospace programs with full EVM and IBR participation.
  • Familiarity with enterprise scheduling tools and integrations with Cobra, wInsight, EVMS forProject, or internal dashboards.
  • Experience tailoring planning practices for commercial programs and agile development environments.
  • Experience improving planning processes and tools.
