Associate - Workday Reporting Developer (Workday Financials)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain user-friendly Workday reports and dashboards, primarily for Workday Financials with exposure to HCM.
• Translate documented business requirements and technical specifications into effective reporting designs.
• Partner with finance, accounting, and business stakeholders to gather, refine, and validate reporting requirements.
• Ensure report data accuracy, consistency, integrity, usability, performance, and scalability.
• Perform unit testing, support user acceptance testing, troubleshoot existing reports, and optimize them for performance.
• Support reporting deliverables for initiatives such as GL migration and financial transformations, including documentation and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• Proven experience developing custom Workday reports and dashboards, with a strong focus on Workday Financials and exposure to HCM.
• Proficiency with Workday Report Writer, including Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports.
• Strong understanding of financial data structures and accounting concepts.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders in an onshore or client-facing role.
• Ability to communicate technical and design concepts clearly to non-technical audiences, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• BS, BA, or MBA degree and Workday certification.
