Registered Nurse (PRN Radiation Oncology)

Location: Thornton and Boulder, Colorado, United States; onsite work at both clinics as needed

Salary: $37.00–$46.00 per hour

What you will do

• Float between the Thornton and Boulder clinics as needed.
• Obtain imaging studies and patient records and support new-patient paperwork.
• Complete nursing assessments, patient intake documentation, medication updates, vital signs, and quality-measure documentation.
• Assess patient needs and provide education about radiation treatments and discharge instructions.
• Triage patient calls, document relevant information, and communicate patient needs and interventions to physicians and the radiation oncology team.
• Follow up on ordered studies, pull labs for concurrent chemotherapy patients, coordinate follow-up appointments, and complete disability or FMLA paperwork when needed.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited professional nursing education program; BSN preferred.
• Current RN state license and registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum two years of nursing experience.
• Maintain continuing education requirements.
• Pass a post-offer background check and non-federal drug test before hire.
