PM & Reliability Technician III (Electromechanical)

What you will do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and assess electromechanical production equipment to improve availability and OEE.
• Perform preventive maintenance, including inspections, adjustments, lubrication, oil changes, and replacement of wear components.
• Develop, revise, and follow maintenance procedures using sound engineering and maintenance practices.
• Support root cause analysis, nonconformance investigations, corrective and preventive actions, and reliability improvements.
• Manage maintenance concerns involving spare parts, obsolescence, stockouts, repair readiness, planning, and work-order tracking.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Operations, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and other cross-functional partners; train technicians on assigned tasks and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Four to six years of technical college, trade, or military training, or equivalent industrial experience focused on electromechanical systems, PLCs, and pneumatics.
• Qualification across multiple generations of production technologies and demonstrated proficiency in at least three relevant areas, including pneumatic systems, servo systems, injection molding, sterilizers, vision systems, dosing systems, robotics, or heat seal systems.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electromechanical manufacturing equipment.
• Understanding of FDA, ISO, GMP, safety, and quality requirements in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Ability to perform physical duties including standing, walking, kneeling, reaching, crawling, and light lifting up to 25 pounds.

Nice to have

• Associate degree, vocational training, technical certification, or relevant military technical training.
• At least four years of industrial maintenance experience involving electromechanical systems, PLCs, and pneumatics.
• Experience with preventive or predictive maintenance, reliability improvement, asset care programs, CMMS, spare-parts processes, and maintenance documentation.
• Lean Yellow or Green Belt, or Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt knowledge.
• Experience in FDA-regulated, ISO, GMP, medical device, or similarly regulated manufacturing operations.
