Embedded SW Dev Engineer

Location: Shanghai, China. Successful background and reference checks, as well as proof of the right to work in China, are required.

What you will do

• Develop embedded software for data center solutions from requirements through production and commercial deployment.
• Design and implement software for embedded devices and systems.
• Define software requirements and specifications while collaborating with chip design teams on new silicon feature development and validation.
• Develop and maintain device drivers and upper-layer software stacks.
• Work with validation teams to ensure software quality standards are met.
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues while following advances in embedded software development.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering.
• 4+ years of embedded systems software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C, C++, and Python.
• Strong knowledge of embedded systems, embedded Linux, and real-time operating systems.
• Knowledge of SPI, I2C, UART, and device driver development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Chinese, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Verilog.
• Experience with OpenBMC development.
