Senior Embedded Software Engineer-1 (Embedded Linux)

Location: Xi'an, China; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Develop, document, and test system software in embedded Linux environments.
• Participate in code reviews and software design discussions.
• Improve continuous integration processes and automate build and deployment workflows.
• Collaborate with global teams to debug issues and improve software performance.
• Contribute to the architecture of new embedded products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• Deep knowledge of the C programming language and experience with multithreading and inter-process communication.
• Knowledge of the Linux kernel, drivers, and embedded distributions such as Yocto and Buildroot.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Good knowledge of Git, familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, and strong teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Rust or C#.
• Knowledge of the Zephyr project.
• Experience with Modbus, BACnet, MQTT, or similar communication protocols.
