TL;DR
Senior Embedded Software Engineer (Embedded Linux): Developing, documenting, and validating reliable and reusable system software for embedded Linux environments with an accent on C programming, Linux kernel and driver integration, and embedded distributions. Focus on defining embedded product architecture, improving CI build and deployment automation, and solving complex debugging and performance issues with global teams.
Location: Xi'an, China; full-time on-site role

What you will do
- Develop, document, and test system software in embedded Linux environments.
- Participate in code reviews and software design discussions.
- Improve continuous integration processes to increase build and deployment automation.
- Collaborate with global teams to debug issues and improve software performance.
- Contribute to the architecture definition of new embedded products.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- Deep knowledge of C and experience with multithreaded programming and inter-process communication.
- Knowledge of the Linux kernel, drivers, and embedded distributions such as Yocto and Buildroot.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs.
- Good knowledge of Git and familiarity with cybersecurity concepts.
- Proficiency in written and verbal English is required.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Rust, Zephyr, communication protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, and MQTT, or C#.
