What you will do
- Perform geospatial analysis and develop geographically derived assessments.
- Use and manage spatial relational databases, including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
- Integrate enterprise data and support spatial data governance, metadata management, and metrics interpretation.
- Develop custom geoprocessing and analytical workflows using Python, R, SAS, Java, or other programming languages.
- Present geospatial information through multimedia presentations and written reports.
- Coordinate with industry counterparts on technical projects, software assessments, and service evaluations.
Requirements
- College degree in Geospatial Information & Services, Geomatics, Geospatial Sciences, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in geospatial analysis and/or geospatial information systems.
- Current and active TS/SCI security clearance with Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) is required.
- Expert knowledge of location-analysis applications such as Esri ArcGIS Platform, QGIS, MapBox, and GeoServer.
- Extensive experience with geospatial assessments, enterprise data integration, spatial data governance, metadata management, and business or performance metrics.
- Experience presenting geospatial information and collaborating on technical projects.
Nice to have
- Experience with Intelligence Community and Department of Defense geospatial data and repositories.
- Knowledge of cartography, GIS, and spatial modeling.
- Familiarity with Army, DoD, or IC geospatial processes, policies, and programs.
- GIS certification such as GISP or Esri Professional, or relevant government certification.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, graphic design principles, Structured Observation Management, and object-based production.
