Technical Expert/Functional Expert (HPC)

What you will do

• Provide Tier 4 HPC support to the NSAW and UDC sites.
• Configure, tune, test, troubleshoot, and support high-performance file systems including XFS, GPFS, and Lustre.
• Support HPC farm systems and associated applications such as Nagios, xcat, failover software, and compilers.
• Configure and troubleshoot distributed computing tools including RES, LSF, and SLURM.
• Configure, tune, test, and troubleshoot Red Hat and SUSE operating systems.

Requirements

• United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with an agency-appropriate polygraph.
• At least 10 years of experience with a relevant degree, or 15 years without a degree, in a large and complex IT environment.
• Advanced expertise in high-performance file systems, HPC farm systems, distributed computing tools, and Linux operating systems.
• Working knowledge of HPC MPP systems.
