Technical/Functional Expert (Storage)

Salary: $49,996.80–$290,004.00 per year

What you will do

• Configure, tune, test, administer, and troubleshoot advanced storage environments.
• Support virtualization products including VMware, Xen, and Solaris containers.
• Configure and troubleshoot cloud-based storage implementations such as Hadoop and IBM BigInsights.
• Support Red Hat, SUSE, and Solaris systems, including file services and Fibre Channel connectivity.
• Administer SGI IRIX systems, network appliance clusters, SAN storage, enterprise arrays, SSDs, and deduplication platforms.
• Manage multi-vendor clustered file systems, Brocade Fibre Channel networks, NFS/CIFS appliances, and Remedy trouble tickets.

Requirements

• US citizenship and an active security clearance are required.
• At least 10 years of experience in a large and complex IT environment with a degree, or 15 years without a degree.
• Demonstrated experience as a storage architect.
• Recognized functional expertise across enterprise storage, operating systems, virtualization, cloud storage, and SAN environments.
• Availability for full-time, in-office work in Annapolis Junction, Maryland.
